Good things, without the markup
Vilarece exists because of a gap that annoyed us.
A lot of genuinely good products are made in China and sold to the rest of the world at three or four times what they should cost. Not because anyone added anything, but because they passed through a chain of distributors, each taking a margin.
Buying direct is its own problem: minimum order quantities, unclear listings, no recourse if something arrives broken, and shipping you have to work out yourself.
We sit in between. We find products worth owning, handle the sourcing and the logistics, and sell them one at a time to people who don't want to become importers just to buy a decent trunk organizer.
How we work
We're a small operation, and we'd rather be straight with you about what that means.
We ship direct
Our products go from our manufacturing partners, mostly in China, straight to you. There's no warehouse in the middle. That keeps our costs down, and the saving is why our prices look the way they do.
It also means delivery takes longer than a domestic retailer, typically 8 to 18 business days to the US. We publish that number rather than burying it, because a delivery estimate you can trust is worth more than a fast one you can't.
We choose products before we list them
We don't run a catalogue of thousands of items. Each product is picked because it solves a real problem, it's built well enough to last, and the price makes sense once the middlemen come out.
We stand behind what we sell
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we replace it or refund you, and we don't make you ship it back at your own cost to prove it.
